Broken motor bullet connector

Hi there,

I managed to break the one of the bullet connectors of my motor, it is Traxxas 2200kv motor. Will this damage what is in the motor in the long run?

Also, will this affect the performance of it?

I tried searching answers in the forum and online but couldn't find any.

No, it's fine, carry on.

If it's loose, prise the others apart a smidge, that'll tighten the connection.

It isn't loose. It is still tight enough to stay on as normal

Thanks man. I thought it would cause bigger damage in the long run

Worst case scenario is its going to introduce more heat into the connection as there's more resistance.
If you're not pushing the motor anywhere near max then this won't matter.
But if you have a decent soldering iron just swap the plug. It's easy enough.

Just don't be careless and drop solder on yourself.
