Popular Post Jenny Posted April 27, 2020 Popular Post Share Posted April 27, 2020 Hi everyone Just thought i'd share my progress on my 2010 re re Tamiya Sand Scorcher i am building at the moment. On the body i have used a Metallic Blue Sparkle Candy Colour. Instead of the French Blue Box Art colour. As you can see from pictures its very sparkly in the sunlight & i think looks better but still keeping with 80's theme. I have just ordered from Modelsport a Carson Reflex Wheel Start 2.4g Radio with Servo & a Modelsport UK Sniper RV-20 Auto, so hopefully i can have it running by the weekend 8 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thank you this has taken me over a month to build lol ,very fiddly and paintwork hard to get right .. But its getting there slowly now! Just the rear light to paint and its finished Was a bit disappointed the battery only lasted 15 mins from a full charge. Carson 2700 Hump pack. Still this won't be used much as its a shelf queen. You say it took you some while to build, but was it worthwhile - I mean was it an enjoyable build? I'm desperately trying not to press the button on one of these, as I have too many other projects / unbuilt kits right now as it is...but it's just so tempting, and I'm not convinced I'll get another chance, as they're probably unlikely to produce another batch. Decisions decisions! Do it It is a nice build. The metal parts and the way its all packaged make it feel that little bit extra special too.
