Well it works but the lines are not straight the screw/bolt holes aren't even and quite a lot of slips while cutting so looks awful ? and was winding me up so brought a new one it was only £40 ? heavyleftthumb
ahh ok pal. i do get you it would grind me too. new cases are cheap but i always stay away from cheap cases as they usually tend to be flimsy and pretty noisy. i have yet to choose a new case as current is way too noisy and has serveral marks on it now from it being under the desk
RC4WD fan
Had a good look at the new case and I'm very happy with it ?
RC4WD fan
Here's some pics the quality and fill is so so much better then my old one no sharp edges and fills very solid ? fo £40 it fills like an £80+ caes I'll find out how good it is when I start swapping the parts over and as the weekend is supposed to be wet and windy I've nothing else to do ? Here's the specs of the case if it's correct then I should be able to run an evo 212 cpu cooler ?
RC4WD fan
All finished well the swap still have a couple of things to do to make it mine ? this was the old and the new looks like there's nothing in there now did my best with cable management not to bad the back is a different story though good job you can't see it ? and one with it lit up
Nitroholic
The LeMan Russ case is being designed in prototype ( OK...cardboard ) to see how big it would have to be with a full ATX mobo inside. Assuming I can get it to a sensible size with everything in it then I will look at making it for real. Would look at 1.5mm ally sheet for the core....and probably thick ply for the track sections with styrene sheet to skin it. It would be easier with a smaller mobo.... so it might have to wait until my next PC build.

I would expect a drop of at least a few degrees. It should be far quieter too.

The current stock cooler has never gone past 40c at load it's just the fan makes so much noise you can clearly hear it even with headphones on and up uncomfortably high well for me anyway ? I've got everything I need to do the swap now so might do it tonight ?
