capri-boy
Just now, bunnie said: didn't think of cash converters. I'll get him to check out all the local ones. worth a try i mention it only as one of my 'localish' ones in a nearby city has had a few newer model Hobao's and HPI Baja's. Struck me as very odd.

Fly In My Soup
+1 with Capri boy, on local pawnbrokers. P.s you mentioned the centre of town...? First thing i would of looked for is nearby CCTV.... I grew up on a rough estate, so i instinctively know not to leave any valuables in any car i parked ..period... As already said, such times we live in cause a rise in opportunist crime.. Thankfully, i live in rural devon now where crime is virtually non existent ( think 'hot fuzz' ), but the local plod still pop these 'helpful' reminders on every car park...
