bombercountynick
Looks amazing and sure it will come with a hefty price tag? Can you run proper tuned pipes on these? Doesnt look to be much room on the chassis Edited December 8, 2016 by bombercountynick
Carpmart
The link above doesn't work @53HRA as for the truck... I've still got this nagging doubt that moving away from IRS (Losi 5T) and back onto to a live axle, which lets face it is tech from the 19th century, it's just not progress... kangarilla
Is this any different than the model that was released a while ago but no one seems to have bought, there was much hoo har, and then died a death as certain people got let down. £ 1200 for a roller or 1500 ish with a donkey
RCbutcher
Live Axle or not I've seen vekta videos run circles around losi 5t. Unless those videos are by kraken lol. It even jumps off the line faster too. I saw the new baja direct drive bolt on the other day it left me speechless if it really does what he said wow. you can install 4x outrunner motors inside the wheels and power it upto 12s for a 110mph baja he said. I forgot the name of the product I'm shocked I've not seen it on here. I watched an rcsparks video first one in a year and it was good. Company called TIDNAB, Pricey $1000 for 4 motors I think. But it's a cool product to watch once they've sold to the people who've gotta be first prices could fall. Companies know someone on YouTube will pay lol. PS. dj medic just uploaded his vekta 5 unboxing.

They look so uncomfortable at speed, from the videos I've seen, they seem to fall over a lot (which is common to locked rear axle vehicles on any RC scale) Not to mention those solid rear axles are eating themselves to bits anyway

There's no way it's going to compete with a low cg race truck if it's not live. I could see it doing well over rough terrain though. Besides, it does look awesome. supersavage
After seeing a few videos of these I'm not that impressed by them. Though I wouldn't mind having a closer look at one in person.

I wasn't commenting on this particular truck. The other one is locked, and that's the one we were talking about
