Agreed fella I wouldn't recommend that to anyone either Seriously I think £700 for a 1/8th is just plain silly this has come from a budget brand and is now propably the most exspensive 1/8th scale to date .. As far as i can work out its the same other than the what you mentioned and some heavy duty rod ends which some users already tried on the first version but they kept stripping out as well.. I dont think they fixed the battery door flying open or the motor can losing its end bell on impact or the bottoming out and shocks exploding or the chassis plates coming apart. I guess will have to wait and see on that score.. Looking at the promo vid they stay well clear of any big air some im guessing its still got some problems lurking in there somewhere.. Had it of been the same price as the original i might have been tempted in hope these have been addressed as Arrma are normally quite quick at updating and fixing problems but with the extra £140 on top ill pass .. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I thought it was 4mm shorter ? and 140g heavier which isn't a great deal and is more than likely taken up in the new tyre and bumper design ? mond Posted September 29, 2016 Share Posted September 29, 2016 Not sure what is wrong with it but the original one seemed to have a few problems with rod ends popping out, the shocks breaking and the main problem was the chassis plates splitting after a while - then you have the asking price which is quite ridiculous when you have a monster truggy available by Arrma themselves for half the price. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dont get me wrong i love the innovation that went in to the nero and quite like the idea of the diff brain, not to mention it looks so cool under the body...but the problems are quite well documented and maybe its a bit overly complicated. The Kraton and Talion are obviously a lot more conventional in layout and as a result maybe a little more durable, and they cost £350 ish. It is worth every penny. 1nce a battery door opened after a mega air..broke 2 pushrod ball ends..thats it..just check out my YT...
