I would however budget for an ESC Upgrade, a decent 400w+ Charger and a few packs of cells. Ideally you'd need around £1300 to enter the hobby with an Xmaxx 8s. I have 2 Losi Petrols, the x is a good compromise... very simple plug and go and still offers some large scale fun. Its much faster too than the average 5ive. mydoddy69 Posted April 22, 2017 Share Posted April 22, 2017 Any of you guys running the Cush drive notice the excess amount of play back and forth on the spur ? Mine has a fair bit of play so I decided whilst I was changing out the stripped spur I'd shim it out a bit, ended up using 3 x 0.2mm shims under the top cover ( 7793 ) now it's much better.. Left some play so when it heats up it won't bind up I'll let you know how it works out ..
