Noj
Had a review from 53hra, suffice it to say the volume of long hair littering this domicile means we aren't buying a pair, too much risk of damage from binding, lol
Thunderwolf
i'll be getting mine when i visit my mum. it was meant to be a christmas present before it got delayed
sinner9511
track preparation is key lol(break out the hoover) to minimize binding. wheels can easily be popped off for maintenance. also seen that they have a high speed gear set and usb charging cable which I will be adding to mine. Thunderwolf
got to mums and got both of mine. got one out, some things i like and some i don't, i'll be posting a review when i've had longer to play with it, only done one charge so far. i can also compare it to the losi micro t i got here aswell, considering it would seem to be it closest big brand competion

leo-rcc
Mine arrived today from Modelsport UK as I haven't seen them in the Dutch shops yet. I ran about 3 charges through them and it performing well. My only minor issue with it is that the steering is very noisy. Apart from that, it goes like crazy on short carpet, gets decent speed on laminated floor, slides all over the place on tile floor, and probably will survive the cobble streets as well. The steering response is very quick. I had to adjust the steering trim on the car itself a little so it tracks straight. I first trimmed it on the transmitter but that resulted in the noise from the steering being constant. My runtime is about 10-12 minutes, charging is about an hour. Noj
Does this have to be charged via the tx, or, could you stick it on a proper lipo charger???
Thunderwolf
its charged via the tx, however there is a usb charge cable being sold separatly, and also as you can get the correct fitment i see no reason you can't use any other charger, long as it can charge a 1s lipo
Noj
....cue reports of flaming q32s from incorrect charging, lol..... Let us know how you get on, eh
Thunderwolf
i will do, i'll be making a little video of it some time this week on it, shall also compare it to the losi micro t aswell as see what it can do in a more open area.
caleebra
[big kid] Mine arrived today first charge blasting around the living room laminate getting stuck under the sofa. Steering a bit quicker than the Savage X, will take a bit of getting used to... [/big kid]
monsterman26
got one for my birthday. absolutely love it. its fast, nippy, resilient and handles brilliantly.
sinner9511
picked up the high speed gear set today in the pack they give you a selection of spur and pinion gears as well as 2 sets of steering tie rods -1 and -2 toe out for more responsive steering. Stock gearing is 12T pinion 24T spur changed it up a bit now running 8T pinion 26T spur visible speed difference. http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/gallery/image/32179-hpi-q32-high-speed-gear-set/ http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/gallery/image/32181-stock-gears-in-the-rear/ http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/gallery/image/32182-stock-spur-is-24t-upped-to-26t/ Edited February 6, 2015 by sinner9511

Thunderwolf
WARNING: the following post has alot of words, if this is a problem, skip to the end. ^^ rotflmao! Any conclusions from the experience?? typical HPI results tbh the design is simple and the price is abit high for what you get. the servo leccy parts are in one board along with the rx and esc elements, no obvious way of replacing it if it breaks solid rear axle with plastic bushings pan car style, nothing interesting, drive motor, gearing and axle all contains in one unit, much like the older tamiya buggies. rear suspension consists of a single spring. front is just by flexible plastic arms. mostly held together with 11 small screws, front hubs held on via pins held in place with friction, front wheel fit the same way but the pin spins in the hub, no bushing or anything though rear wheels also just push onto the axle, the tight fit being the only thing holding them on, also no flat points so if you remove it too often you will eventually have a car that won't move. foam tyres also just slide on the same way, not great imo be nice to see some rubber tyres for it, seem some one getting the tyres from lego kits and fitting them, not seen any the fit the front and look ok though. decent enough for what its aimed for, little kids would love it, the battery is a 1s lipo which does make it speedy out of the box. in regards to recommending it, if you are looking for a rc you can upgrade and mess about with but on a smaller scale then better off saving the extra and getting a losi micro, if you just want something to mess about with or have your kids play with but still maintain the hobby grade brand name then by all means go for the q32 not used it much but that my thoughts so far, may change, you never know, waiting for some dryer weather so i can give it ago out side at a spot i know the losi runs well, maybe abit of video for it aswell, all depends on how things go. sinner9511
This little buggy gets the thumbs up from me. Though simple in design it is fun to drive handles really well and takes a beating. The motor looks to me like it was taken from a micro heli as its similar to my msrx micro heli motor (thinking maybe a more powerfull micro heli motor could be soldered on??) The high speed gear set is a bit over priced for what you get in the pack I thought but worked well and you get a few sets of gears to mix n match. The usb charging cable works well takes about 40 minutes to charge the battery. Durability I found to be really good after bashing both my micro high roller and Q32 about over many ridiculous jumps, racing and just general mayhem indoors the Q32 suffered no damage at all while my micro high roller suffered from a burnt out brushless motor which is a common issue with the losi branded brushless motor im on my 5th or 6th one now also suffered from transmission gear problems easily fixable issues but issues none the less. My final thoughts are that though the losi micro 1\36 range is vastly more upgradable it also cost a lot more as do the upgrades than the Q32. I think the Q32 is good value its 2.4ghz comes with lipo its durable and though upgrades are minimal some can still be made. http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/gallery/image/32235-q32-and-micro-high-roller/ http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/gallery/image/32236-busted-transmission-gears/ http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/gallery/image/32238-msrx-and-q32-motors/ http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/gallery/image/32237-micro-monster-truck-and-baja/
