Well, it's a sad day guys. Due to a lack of use my WR8 and all my shell collection is up for sale. Sad times Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Up for sale due to not being used for months. Not had a huge amount of use but never been abused. All in good working order. All stock apart from an upgraded steering servo. Stock shell in very good condition. Couple of scrapes here and there, no splits. Rear spoiler was damaged where it fits the shell but been repaired. Also includes a de-stickered 'Abu Dhabi' shell in good condition. Been run mostly with this shell. Stock wheels and tyres very little use. Additional tarmac rally wheels in good condition plenty of life left in them. Fitted on the car are a copy set of wheels and tyres that are good but rears are starting to wear. Have fitted a lexan sheet to the bottom of the chassis to protect it, chassis itself has a few scrapes on it, nothing major tho. Comes complete with stock hpi radio gear. Comes with original box and a few spares. Be sad to see it go, it's a great car, but I never get much chance to use it now. Would much prefer collection but can post. There's a sort of eBay site in Malaysia there's a RC bike shop on there. Couldn't get my head round the site so I bought direct from him via Facebook.

Just to add, it's the app that won't connect, not the phone. Phone 'sees' the quad in the phones settings but the app won't connect. Another guy in the shop also has an iPhone 5s, his connects first go. Only difference is I'm running the latest iOS version. Annoying!

May have got an idea to try. Something to do with changing the DNS setting on the phones WIFI. Any thoughts any one?

Anyone had any issues with connecting their smart phone to these? Visited my LHS looking to buy one of these. Tried to connect with my iPhone 5s and it keeps saying connection failed. Connected fine to an iPhone 6. Any thoughts?

Quick update. Been spending a bit of time fine tuning things, tightened steering springs, tweaked esc settings and experimented with different settings on the tx and I'm rather pleased with how this is running now. I'm fairly sure it wouldn't worry any of the proper race bikes out there but never the less, I'm pleased. Might start to remove some of the weight fixed inside the rear wheel next. Suffice it to say, I won't be re-fitting the E-gyro anytime soon.

If you want to give bikes a try out you can't go far wrong with an Anderson M5. Yes, it's electric but there a good way into RC bikes. They're about

They don't have a gyro of any sort so unless the dirt track was very smooth the bike would be almost impossible to control.

I'll probably build one of them. More than likely be a shelfer. I'm building a HOR at the moment that will be a runner.

Not sure what the Xbike is. Got a link? This track is at Radshape RC in Minworth, Birmingham. It's actually their drift track. I'm not even slightly into drifting but when it's quiet I get my bikes on there.
