Bigjimknickers
I'm not after a modded engine, just a reliable, complete engine, that's genuine an not a cheap clone.
Nitroholic
CYF270 gets my vote. Been running one for a while on Shorty, and it's been excellent. Makes good power and has been rock solid.

Oh How Original
Another vote for the CY F270 here, I loved mine, it'll be my engine of choice when the time comes for this current Baja, provided I don't go for something tuned. Oh How Original
If I remember what John said, the stroker has a longer stroke and the stuffed has the gaps filled in the conrod (correct me if I'm wrong John lol) for more compression?
the watchman
Either the zen or the cy, ive had all 3 of those engines except the zen was a 29cc, i love zennoah engines there always very reliable, the rcmk is genuinely a cracking engine and has a very very smooth power delivery but not as reliable as the other 2 engines plus getting hold of spare parts can be a bit harder with the rcmk, and parts do not interchange from zen to rcmk, i also found the 1058 carb on the rcmk to be tricky to tune correctly, if it was me choosing again i would go zen 290. Tamiyacowboy
Stroker : this term is used when a taller head and barrel are used, intrun the con-rod is extended in length, the longer stroke draws more fuel and air than the standard length con-rod. the advantage is more displacement. and the leverage means more easy torque. BUT there is a disadvantage to now that longer pistion has to travel a longer distance but the time taken is still the same as a short crank, this means the piston has to travel faster, and this in turn causes more wear on the piston than usual. to much added stoke will DROP the total output at high revs. so a high rpm engine would be better off with a bore kit and not a stroker kit. You can modify some standard cranks to be stokers and the cost is somewhat here and there. but its NOT an easy task stuffed : in these engines the con-rod is connected to the crank, upon the crank are two metal disc. these are like balance weights. Now on some engines you will find that one of these weight disks is cut in half so one is a full disc the other is half a disc. the term stuffing/stuffed is where this missing piece is filled in. A Stuffed crankshaft reduces crankcase volume and improves engine power, unlike that of a standard crank and crankcase volume and hence a lower power. stroker means long bore piston, long bore con-rod and a long bore barrel. stuffed means less crankcase volume and a boost in power. ( add a stuffed case to an engine report, barrel skim and port polish+ tune and the stroker setup = a pure race engine but risk on damage is more ) the same still goes here to the stroker kit with a stuffed crank means yes more power and displacement BUT extra wear on the piston and crank end because of the faster piston speed and no change in time for the pistons travel Edited September 24, 2014 by Tamiyacowboy

What I really am wondering is if the cy f270 is better than an esp 27cc on the stock cy dibbie motor.
