yes it could. when it starts to lose power stop the car and open the fuel tank, if it makes hissing noise the breather hole in the cap is blocked and engine is starving for fuel because of the vacum iside the tank.

so is it possible to make the car not to go at max speed even if the throttle has been pressed to the max ? in other words does electric cars has throttle trim on the radio or receiver like nitro or petrol cars? thanks... rytis

my memory is playing up... after reading your post and nickname l remembered that l had mini revo vxl which was ELECTRIC and l sold to you as far as l can remember . l have seen mini recon once in real life and it looked like guy had fun playing with it. l think it will be my first choise if there is no way to slow FTX siege down.

thanks for reply... l know that 1/10 scale is a bit too big for playing inside and that's why l need to know is it possible to make it go slower. l promised him a "big car" for Christmas and l just don't know what to do. there are loads of massive RC toy grade jeeps with massive wheels etc, but the problem is that they costs from 35 to 65ish pounds and if something brakes boy will be sad and dad will be not able to fix it

Hi, l decided to buy my son an electric off road RC car. I know that maybe it's a bit too early but that is the reason why it must be as cheap as possible. I am thinking off spending up to 100 pounds and it must be RTR. It doesn't have to be fast because l think any hobby grade car will be faster than most toy cars. The cheaper and easier to fix the better. Any advice is very welcome... l was thinking of FTX siege or maybe tamiya lunch box. If it is RTR it must have wheel tipe radio not stick one because my son had and still owns a few toy cars and the one which had wheel type radio was his favorite until it broke. It looked like it was easier for him to control it as well. It is going to be a present for Christmas so if you know any abroad shops where l could buy cheaper and better, a link with address would be good because we still have a few weeks before the day comes. thanks.... rytis

l am really happy with my KM T1000 too. after fitting a few alloy upgrades the only problems l get is ripped tires and wheel inserts.
