arogon1235 Posted July 4, 2013 Author Share Posted July 4, 2013 it has quite alot of power and for the weight and how the weight is balanced is very good as the car only weighs 1.5kg so i need to add some weight to the front and a bit of weight on the battery side. arogon1235 Posted July 7, 2013 Author Share Posted July 7, 2013 i have been thinking if it is a good idea to swap the sirius 4600kv motor out and go and buy a castle 3800 as i think because the sirius is on a 2pole motor and it is going to get hot very quickly and shut down the esc on the run. so if i get a castle 3800 i think it would run much more cooler and have alot of tourque to pull the very high gearing. rctruckz Posted July 9, 2013 Share Posted July 9, 2013 another option is using a schumacher 21xtr, its a 1/10 scale st but designed for .21 engines, I had 1 and it hit speeds of 60mph+ stock single speed, there also the 3-e version which has 3 speed gears and also the menace which was 4wd, if you look around im sure you would get a 3e very cheap, throw some slicks on and play with the gearing I reckon u would easily hit 100 dude, gud luck anyway ;-) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
