There was a young lad called arogon

Who tried to reach a ton

He tried his very best

Running on 4s

But in the end it couldn't be done

Now a mission  phase one

Has been and gone

He's now running a mission mi4

We wish him the best

On his maiden test

And hope it stays on the floor

Classic.

 cheers for that

just did some more tests outside with the car and its definatly the servo but once it gets going it stays planted and drives arrow straight so all i need to do is pick up a digital servo new spur gear, pinion gear and a body shell and i'm ready to roll.

Apart from the servo, how does it feel? In terms of power, weight etc...

it has quite alot of power and for the weight and how the weight is balanced is very good as the car only weighs 1.5kg so i need to add some weight to the front and a bit of weight on the battery side.

i have been thinking if it is a good idea to swap the sirius 4600kv motor out and go and buy a castle 3800 as i think because the sirius is on a 2pole motor and it is going to get hot very quickly and shut down the esc on the run. so if i get a castle 3800 i think it would run much more cooler and have alot of tourque to pull the very high gearing.

I think the 1410 would be a wise choice, I used to run one in a much bigger and heavier Hyper TT, on 3s it would do 50mph easily, In a much lighter car and on 4s it would be ballistic :)

Ballistic is gooooood!

another option is using a schumacher 21xtr, its a 1/10 scale st but designed for .21 engines, I had 1 and it hit speeds of 60mph+ stock single speed, there also the 3-e version which has 3 speed gears and also the menace which was 4wd, if you look around im sure you would get a 3e very cheap, throw some slicks on and play with the gearing I reckon u would easily hit 100 dude, gud luck anyway ;-)
