  8. I've barely had any use of this over the past few months and it's just collecting dust sat here, it's the perfect car for indoor mini racing in the winter. I bought it not long ago, and it's in tip top condition. It's got all of the vital upgrades to be a very competitive racer, metal shock upgrades, anti-roll bars, saturn 20t brushed motor (front wheel drive doesn't cope well with brushless) and it runs lipo, although some better tyres would make a small improvement. I'm not quite sure if it has any diff or gear hop ups installed, as I've never checked. The chassis is scratched on the bottom, but this happens with every rc you run outdoors. It comes with an ansmann w5 2.4ghz rx/tx - the cover has broken off the back but it makes no difference, a 2s core rc 4000mAh 20c lipo with deans connector - you need round case lipos like these to fit in the battery tray (pictured above), a wealth of spares including steering racks, a set of slick wheels and most of the plastic original parts that have been upgraded (hubs etc), an unpainted suzuki swift bodyshell, I never got round to painting it and fitting it, and a fastrax 1/10 carry case to put it all in! Now on eBay here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tamiya-M05-Race-Spec-RTR-/331019849857 Cheers
  9. That's not the point, the fact is you were spouting inaccurate opinions like they were facts, therefore you were corrected and shown that PC's aren't that bad. I think you read babylon's post wrong, he agreed with you about Uncharted and the rest being good.
  10. Pretty much I've gone through 6 Xbox's, all got RROD
  11. False. Even so, a console would last a few years before it couldn't handle the games anymore, a PC can be upgraded whereas a console is locked down. The only option then is to buy a newer console at
  12. The wonky blue wire is making my uncomfortable
  13. If the drivetrain is weak, you may find yourself having more breakages than normal with using brushless as it delivers a much larger amount of power than brushed does, try it first but it may be worth upgrading any weak links on the drivetrain with aftermarket parts.
  14. My brother got a nitro, so I wanted one. Had a dabble round and found electric was the best for me and spent months waiting for christmas to get an E-firestorm and then I was hooked. I loved the feel of having your own thing that you could upgrade, throw around and just have fun with. Got a savage, and decided nitro really wasnt for me then followed a series of leccy bashers, until I sold up for a while, only to get the bug and want another rc again. I saw garry's thread on minis and spoke to sam in chat quite a bit, and mini racing seemed pretty fun (fun is probably the only factor for me) so I got an M05 on ebay, now I have a race ready M05 waiting for me to pull my finger out and get down to the track. I've found this forum to be the easiest to use and has the best community, other forums always seem cluttered and poorly laid out, the theme on this forum is clear and easy. The community is probably the best thing for me about msuk, places like the lounge and in chat are brilliant, and are probably why I still do rc and still come here. Cheers Nick
  15. A second hand tt01, or a kit one would do great. However if you're thinking of more serious racing you may want to stretch your budget and go for a race chassis, models like trf and Schumacher are popular, there are more but I'm not familiar with touring cars
