  1. 1/10 electric really that's what most people are using at my club
  2. As above. Looking for a set up to get started. Fairly cheap but with the option to upgrade in future
  3. thanks for the reply mate. its a smooth racing track that they use no ramps, the odd car park would be good to practice too so something to fit that bill. yes id prefer a 1/10 seemed a nice sized stable car. budget, around
  4. Hi guys. I'm new to the rc car scene. I've had helis and boats but never a car. My dad is part of a model rc boat club but they have recently branched out and opened up a rc car track and club. It's not much and it's in it's very early days but its not a bad place to go and have some fun. My dad and most of the other fellas there have the 1/10 carisma m40s with various shells. I'm after some advice really on what car I should start off with. My son has a smaller carisma car I think it is a 1/16 but I found this a little hard to control but I really liked my dads m40s with the Quattro shell. But as I say I'm really new to this and have absolutely no idea where to start. My requirements are Cheapish to buy out right Modifiable Easy to fix Readily available spares and upgrades And something I can keep up with their cars Any advice would be great
