Rockhopper Posted November 8, 2012 Share Posted November 8, 2012 Same thing happened to me three years ago now (also a CAD person), after a year being out of work I landed a job in Afghanistan of all places. Best thing that ever happened to me to be honest as i'd never have had the courage to do this if i hadn't been pushed into it. Tax and NI free wages so in another 12 months time I'll be able to pay off my mortgage. Check out www.reed.co.uk as cad jobs often come up.
