The diff in my virus 2 (bought new) were bone dry, luckily I stripped it down after running in and filled with diff oil. I had no further problems after that. Naughty of annsman really.

I'm considering buying a clear KM shell from RCModelz as it's a tenner cheaper then HPI/proline. If they are brittle rubbish though obviously I will stump up for a better one. Please advise with your experiences. Also what's more hardy? HPI or proline?

I've made 8 or so orders with the international warehouse (uk never has anything I want in stock) They have all taken between a month and 6 weeks to arrive. It's very rare the tracking numbers work, infact I think they only did on the very first order I placed with them. AsiaTees however (Far East also) are usually here in a week for similar postage charges. They also have fantastic customer service. HobbyKing does some great stuff at good prices..... Just prepare for a very long wait when ordering.

A hardened steel pin has fallen out of my after market HPI Baja brake setup. I'm in need of a 3x24mm pin please A quick google showed that the Traxxas Revo Suspension uses a similar pin, but I'm sure loads of stuff does. Thanks

Try plastic welding it with a soldering iron. It's a funny plastic impregnated with fuel and oil, I can't see any glue holding.
