A Pumpkin was the first rc I bought new - to replace the tamiya fox I'd bought off a mate after I destroyed the chassis lol.

So much fun popping wheelies everywhere in the street thanks to the uprated motor, tho made it a handful at the indoor race meet I used to attend.

Really thinking about getting one for fun but want a  traxxas UDR too - and the wife will probably kill me whichever way I go lol

Two little videos to show how effective the UkMonsters double wishbone suspension is, no more bump steer or adverse camber.

The cross body reinforcement at the shock towers is also worth doing 👌

I put a cross brace over the top of the front shocks and fitted a 5th shock at the back.

pretty much stock other than that.

had to fit Lights though 😈, I pulled apart an old servo and used the board from that to have the lights controlled from my transmitter, channel 6 on my Tx is a rotary knob so I can control the lights for on/off and brightness.

painted the shell, not 100% happy with it but it won’t last any way so then I’ll paint it again 🤣🤣

Talk batteries to me folks!

How are you all powering your midnight pumpkins? Basically got 1 of these from my wife for Xmas (I am experienced in RC) recently built a 3S powered neo scorcher ect getting back in2 the hobby after a lot of years! Are folk still using the NIMH batteries? This was originally my plan but starting to think now a 2S lipo will be a good option as I now have a bit of knowledge about the lipo plus got the charger for ballance charging etc... unsure about motor yet but won't be stock, not mental either possible 1 of my old racing brushed motors but unsure

Let me know what yous are using folks. Merry Christmas

Fitted a new servo to the Lunchbox, old one was a little slow (etronix ET 2070), new one is a little faster (GX Servo G25 25kg), now it’s more responsive on the steering.

How are you liking the UKMonsters parts?

All good, nicely made, well thought out and fit well. The Independent front suspension kit is really good, transforms the way it drives, for some this may be a bad thing as it takes away some of its madness, but I like it.  Highly recommend the parts.

Thats great to hear thank you. Your Silkcut Lunchbox was in my top 3 to win the suspension last week!
