Rover Man Posted November 9, 2014 Author Share Posted November 9, 2014 Well to go with the new wheels and tyres thought id go up in the world with a lift kit. Its about 3 inches taller than standard now and gives the bigger tyres a bit more room for off roading So seeing as the rain kept off today i got the Springs all fitted. 4 hours, Not bad for working on my own with basic tools. So New rad fitted and a Fan off Paultd5 and were back up and running So Todays little job.... Then had to drive through Cannock chase to get to a house in the middle to do some work. Well had a nice weekend away last week, first time out this year with the tin tent Then on the way home gearbox decided to spray its contents all under the car and up the front of the tin tent All washed down and cant find a leek anywhere lol. Ill keep looking. Then while on the motorway broken down with normal perfect timing the bonnet release cable broke lol. So ordered one with a gearbox service kit and forgot last time i looked on there i added some front light guards to my basket. I was a bit supprised when i saw them in the box lol so today while changing the cable got them fitted to cheer myself up a bit Gooing to change the oil and filter in the box tomorrow as see what happens Bloody cars lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Called AA from Highway agency car to be told there were no lorrys available so they would send an agent to take us off at next junction. had to wait over 2 hours on hard shoulder in the rain wasnt a happy bunny and my misses was scared to death. Guy came and took us off and just as he was dumping us at Castle bromwitch AA truck turned up lol.
