Hi, errr no, the cvds were one of the first things I bought! so they are 8 years old, the UE diffs have quite long cups and sit fine with the cvds, Can you wind the pillow balls in to get the whole hub closer?

Tried that, it sorta works, but then the steering becomes restricted. Maybe I should dig them out and try again, they cost me a small fortune!

If you want to measure them I can compare them to mine? Other thing you can try is to put a shim or two over the cvd axle before you put it through the hub carrier to bring it closer to the middle.

I'll dig them out over the weekend, they've not been used for about 2 yrs, what a waste. Cheers for your help.

Thread revival!

 

After recently getting a pretty much standard emaxx I thought I would have a search on the forum for some build threads and stumbled across this beasty :sweeeet:

 

Amazing work and only wish I had the skills and equipment to do something similar.
