Hyper ST Owners Thread

Recommended Posts

I like it mate :)

Is that mount from a trophy flux? Oh, maybe from a hyper ss?

Is that a 4082 leopard?

Ohh, yeah, I pulled it from my Hyper Cage (same as SS I think)

And the Leopard is a 3674 1900kv.

I'm looking forward to giving it a bash. Need to change the shocks though I think, too soft.

Today I finally had my nitro ST ready to go

Sorted out my hong nor big bores

Rx battery charged

Tx charged

Starter box lipo charged

Glowstart charged

It wasn't raining, I had fuel (25% byrons) I found some glowplugs that worked, I got it all ready (even heated up to the engine with a hairdryer)

Everything was go until it came to priming the engine and I realised the seal had gone on the tank... no problem - I got me a spare tank :)

Fitted it, fuel everywhere including my mouth

Went to prime the engine, same again... the seal had gone in the other tank too!

Not particularly happy as I'm sure they were fine :/

Luckily my brother has some O-rings that should fit, so hopefully I'll get this truggy up and running very soon

Nitro fuel is raaaaank by the way :( :(

Took my ST out today for the first bash. Went really well. :) Took a pasting.

To Do:

Thicker oil in centre.

Change shocks out for Bigbores. Might take them off my Hyper Cage.

Acetone my other tyre sets and belt them up, including my buggy ones.

Rebuild the other ST, and get it ready :tease:

The only problem I had was that my radio was interfering, my ST kept cutting out when near the other guys, but was fine when on its own. :yucky:
