Now looking at a lot of parts.  very poor design  could of been done a lot better  but i suppose they want you to think you had your moneys worth.

Just a shake down test of the newly fitted 120amp esc after calibrating and programming, also tried the new SpeedFlea GPS module out, which by a stroke of Luck, the display is visible through the side window.

You rate the speed flea then?

Is the visible display live max speed??

I haven’t used it in anger yet, just tried it out as I wanted to see where I could fit it. Yes display shows live max speed. Once the film finished I picked it up and it changed to show my speed as I was walking (1.2mph😀). It is very fragile though which is why I bought the box, but very light, and perfect for speed runs I think, @Jack Reacherhas one and tested in while driving his real car and said it was well calibrated.

I will try and get it out for some speed runs, weather alowing.👍

@Ag100 She's a little ripper mate  :good:

Thanks, no where near full throttle though, not enough room, and the battery wasn’t charged up, just wanted to check the Esc.

I had a look on MS for HD rod ends to replace it but could only find the standard ones. Do they not make a hardened version of this part?

No pictures taken but I had a productive RC day today. I started by replacing the stripped gears and reassembling the transmission of the Stampede, then repaired the rounded wheel hexes by drilling through the hex into wheel and fitting grub screws to secure them.

Next up was the DC1. It's a great car, but the shocks are just terrible. The rebound is way too slow, if they rebound at all. I took a knife to the spacer thing that limits oil flow which seems to have done the trick. Trail run tomorrow to test it out 🙂

You could probably buy an ally rod-end, but you'd move the weak point elsewhere.
