Spektrum dx3s with savage 2350

Hi my mate gave me a dx3s :) .I am going to buy the reciever on payday but i am not sure about how to set it up with the esc.The esc is set up with the stock radio ant the mo so i was wandering if i just plug the reciver into the esc and bind it then turn the car off and then reset the esc with the spektrum?Also i swear i have read somewhere about making sure one of the epa's is set to somthing but cant remember what?Thanks for any info.Oh yeh i have just remembered aswell that when i set the failsafe i leave the trigger in neutral as its leccy?Thanks again.

hay mate i use a dx3r with mine, i would rest the dx3s then install reciver in to flux and reset up throttle & break end points like you did with the stock system also make sure you have the frame rare set right for the servo you are using hope that helps think you can download instruction from spektrum website if you dont have them!!
