Savage_Smithy Posted April 13, 2012 Share Posted April 13, 2012 (edited) Ive never had any problems with Mid tank lean on my savage.... what are the symptons? lack of smoke when the tank runs past the 'step' in the tank, rising temps, engine stalls, just general bad running and over heating. if you havent noticed it, then you are probably running a little rich but with the stock tank thats a good idea. as for the revo tank, its simple solution but for me the tank is way too open and vulnerable to damage. i see you arent running the full cage at the back. i highly recommend you install it. if the shell doesnt fit then cut the slots. the full cage protects the engine much more requires a bit of fabrication but mod tank mod is brilliant, and doesnt stil out atall.
