  1. My Baja buggy has had in total less than 10 runs in the last 12 months. The Baja was purchased from new from ModelSport about this time last year and due to the lack of places i can actually run it iv decided that the time has come for me to sell it and use the money on something else. The Baja has a few upgraded parts such as a set of Hostile MX tyres. Everything is Genuine accept the two exhausts that i have for it, these are Cloned Parts. The Baja was correctly run in as per the run in instructions from HPI the engine is also warmed up correctly from cold before every run, great care and love has gone in to this Baja, after every run its been cleaned and maintained and generally well looked after. The Baja has also been mainly run on a grass area. Included also is two body shells, the original blue shell and a second silver shell that i purchased second hand which is currently used on the buggy. I didn't want the original shell to get any marks on it so only use the Silver shell when running it. The 2 stroke oil i use is Castrol A747 I highly recommend to continue using this oil. This Baja is very easy to start and very reliable, it looks fantastic and its massive scale size makes it a joy to work on with ease. Everything im selling is in full working order and is ready to run, just add your fuel. What Extra's are Included: ? FlySky Fs-GT3B 2.4Ghz Controller Ansmann xbase 2.0 AC/DC multi charger Switchblade Kill Switch failsafe - Installed/Configured on the Car (A Must Have) Exhaust Clone Dom (Great Low End Power for Acceleration) Clone Side Pipe (Great Top End Power Band) Currently on Car - (Caution this pipe is extremely loud-) Genuine Hostile MX (Hard Compound) Front Tyres (Very Little Wear - As New) Genuine Hostile MX (Hard Compound) Rear Tyres ( Very Little Wear - As New) Heavy Duty Outer & Inner lipped Orange Beadlocks 5mm Aluminium Underplate Chassis from Fluid RC Urber Smoked Windows Pull Start Cover Black Shock Socks RPM Roof Guard Orange Anodised Quick Release Roll Cage Tubes Keyboard Stand Spares Include /Shock Oils/Engine Oil/Spare Airfilter etc...+more. 2. Im looking to sell my HPI Baja 5B - if interested. Details to follow.
  3. Same here, mine took about 8 days i think, no extra custom charges also.
  4. The Shell is easy to get on with the side pipe, the pipe makes the Baja look like a beast - i love it....if you don't mind the obnoxious noise it makes then you will love this pipe for the money.
  5. Not sure about the second one, i have the first one, it's extremly loud, the same if not slightly louder than a Clone Dom. Fitting is easy....mine is on a bulk standard Baja 5B 23cc, not as quick off the mark as a Dom, but once it hits the power band in the middle if fly's top end speed so much quicker than a dom....sound great! excellent value for money.
  6. As others have said you will not see a difference in using a higher octane fuel, the only way of getting more power is to reduce the amount of oil your using in with the mix - although i would'nt recommend that.
  7. yeah the noise is very comparable to the Dom.
  8. +1 Excellent service from Neil, give him a try.
  9. naa too much plastic for my liking - maybe i shoud iinvest in a carbon fibre wing.
  10. Interesting - so by removing the rear wing i could incorporate a few more MPH because of the less amount of drag.
  11. Interesting but i cant believe the Wing has an aerodynamic influences what so ever.
  12. The wing to me is a bit platiccy/toyish looking and prefer its authenticity with out it...so its been removed. Does anyone else run their Baja's without the rear wing?
  13. +1 i can second that.....i used to run the Clone Dom which is a great pipe but for a long airfield i felt it did'nt have the top end, this side pipe is slightly restricted at low end but once it hits the power band in the middle it f***** fly's.....if you want top end this is great pipe for the price, and works well on 23,26 and 29cc.
  14. I bought a Draper 24L - its excellent my only gripe is its a bit noisey, its small enough to keep in the conservatory. Very very powerful, compaired to those air cans anyway.
