  1. For my power driver i use core rc bits from modelsport, and for hand held drivers i have a set of arrowmax amd a set of wera, would say the wera set is a tighter fit 😀
  2. Where you not impressed with the Injora kraken claw tyres?
  3. Mine cost £4.50 from aliexpress
  4. Looking good 👍 Looking forwards to the test drive, and your thoughts on the dumbo rc, been looking at that one for a while
  5. +1 for proper shock pliers, makes the job a lot easier. Get some with a pin attachment and you can wind rod ends on easily
  6. Hi, I would charge that at 6.7 amps,
  7. Hi all, just stripped down 2 sets of beadlocks and tyres to swap around the tyres, couldn't believe the amount of water in one set of foams, the other set was bone dry. One set of tyres are vented so thinking of sealing the vents, either with a small square of gorilla tape or a dab of silicone, as the local crawler course has some good water features What are people's thoughts on vented and non vented , and how do you seal your vents Cheers, Ian,,👍
  8. That looks awesome, bet you can't wait to take it out 😁
  9. Going against the grain, I like the spec but think it looks awful 😕
  10. Iwould use gt85, lithium grease will attract dirt etc. In my axles i use some blue waterproof marine grease that i used for kingpins and bearings when i used to offroad a 1.1 suzuki jimny 😀
  11. I fitted the kraken claws to my injora rock buggy and find them excellent, a lot better than the super swampers i origionally fitted . They are quite tall though I also have a set of the injora comp pins, that seem to be unstoppable, handling mud, roots, wet and dry rock with impunity., only slight downside is they do not look as scale as chunky tyres, but perform far better 😀
  12. Hi, will charge perfectly as you describe, i use a skyrc 100 and charge my hypergo batteries the same way. I only use the supplied charger if i take the mjx on holiday, but always storage charge with the skyrc when i get home 😀
  13. Hi, first I would check the steering is in channel 1 on the receiver, and throttle in channel 2. If that's ok try rebinding the receiver to the transmitter
  14. Excellent, love the backing track, can see why you went for the green one ,👍👍
  15. @Lone-wolf, that looks awesome 😎
  16. Hi, the part you found looks like the remains of a bearing cage, so I would suspect that the wheel bearing has collapsed, which could account for the noise. Don't run the car as it is, you could damage the wheel hub as well
  17. I'd be up for that, just over 2 hrs journey so not too bad, hopefully sort something when weather improves 👍
  18. I just use a cheap rucksack from sports direct. Its handy to be able to fasten muddy vehicles to the ouside, easier to clean
  19. Both trucks looking good there.😀 Going to check google maps later, see how long it will take me to get there 🤔
  20. I find if I want to download pics from my laptop it won't let me, but from my phone it works every time
  21. Brings back memories, had a cheeky wild camp in one of the cottages about 30 years ago, they had roofs on then 🤫
  22. It depends on how much charge is in the battery, it takes longer to discharge down to storage level than to charge up to it
  23. 1.9 Injora comp pin tyres, shiny wheels to fit them to. Ordered from AliExpress last Friday, got home from a few days away and sat here waiting for me, can't be bad 😁
