Epic bash and chill session with @Luvell RC, @James.S and @Nathan G we just got in.
A quick summary:
- Losi 8ight attacks @Nathan G outta nowhere
- @Luvell RC takes @James.S' Losi MT out of its 15 year slumber and makes quick repairs on location.
- @James.S' monster track runs over my Mrs Hyper 7 over (not even a single scratch)
- @Luvell RC RC's fleet makes me doubt electric and wants a nitro.
- I forgot I had a FTX carnage (didn't get used)
- Mrs takes control of Losi 8igjt 😎
- Epic scenery

Cheers Storm 👍 and yeah that's one of the main appeals for me, that they're renowned for being tough.
It'll be put to the test this saturday as i'm meeting up with @Bert_w164 & @Luvell RC
so we'll see if holds up after a full day of bashing . If it does then it's done better than half my other models lol

Well this is pretty nuts! An attempt at the RC long jump record using a car fitted with a rocket! Apparently they managed 285 feet (86 meters) which I think does break the Paddlesworth record. And the car survived too! Enjoy the vid ☺️

Fair play. You had a Dementor though, right? From what i've read they were a pretty poor model from Corally, but the rest of their line up of truggy/MT models were/are pretty good. The V2 versions all look to be pretty tough bashers, not without any issues but decent RC's none the less. I can understand though if you've been put off of the company from your bad experience, as that's the same for me with FTX.
Yeah I think you're right, it doesn't leave much else so I think that the Typhon is a great choice. Or maybe even a Mojave/6s Senton? They're also meant to be pretty durable bashers

@Tug You can only put mid roll ads in videos 8 minutes & longer. Or do you just mean 2 ads right at the beginning of a 5 minute vid?

Quite a few Youtubers are pushing it a bit far now with the amount of ads they place in their videos. 2 or 3 is normal, and acceptable, in my opinion, but more than that gets tedious very quickly. The worst one is the mid roll 1 minute into the video. I noticed it first probably around 6 months ago, but only very few of the channels I watched were placing an ad at the 1 minute mark. Forward on to now and 80% of the channels I watch are doing it. I think that is pushing it a bit too far to be honest.

Thinking about getting a Hyper VSe for the spring/summer season & noticed that they're set up to run 2x 2s lipos in series (different from all my other RC's). Now that's fine as I have plenty of 2s lipo's with the correct plugs, but I was wondering if it'll be possible to run it on a single 4s lipo?
I've had a good look around and only been able to find one place with the correct adapter (1 male 2 female deans) and it's a chinese seller on Ebay with delivery on the 28th April...
So I was wondering if any of you happened to know of a better place to buy said adapter? & also is it actually fine to run a single 4s on this ESC or is there a reason why these adapters seemingly don't really exist?

It was always gonna be either the Typhon or the Hyper for me. And the more time that's gone by & the more research i've done has now got my mind firmly set on the Hobao. Plus I always wanted a nitro Hyper 7 when I was a lot younger but never ended up getting one. Got the Losi LST2 instead, which I still have, but i'm yet to get it up & running again. I think that'll be an upcoming project for me this spring.

@Oh How Original Oh awesome! That's a much better solution and a lot less wiring to fit under the bodyshell.
