The pipe out is taking the heat out, as I found out to someone else's cost about twenty years ago. 

I'm quite tempted to get a small one from Homebase myself, this heat is just too much for me. If I do, I'll probably core out a hole through the wall, then fit a grill over the outside of the hole.

Yeah I figured that from what Tug said, not the first time I've misunderstood how some technology works. I'm not known as The Luddite for no reason...
