Got burned by another chinese shop yesterday.

Ordered a few facemasks from gearbest, but talked to a mate in germany who has access to better (well, better looking) masks for cheaper - so i cancelled the order the day before yesterday.

Yesterday they declined my refund request because they "just shipped" the order. A day after i cancelled. Needless to say, immediately contacted them (admittedly, rather "firmly" because i was pee'd off and am tired of dealing with chinese bs when it comes to ordering), told them that the item is fraudulently dispatched and that, if i don't get a refund in the next week, i'll open a case with paypal and get my money back that way. 

Immediately got an answer telling me that i'm correct, and that "the correct department" will contact me in the next 24h. We'll see how that goes. But i'll have no qualms pressing the button on the paypal webpage. Didn't cost the world, but still £35 - and i'll get those back. And if they don't offer a way for me to send the item back for free, i'll keep the mask too.

Yes, it's unfortunate the way in which some of these lot do business... This is not my first issue with RCMart. But saying that they are generally reasonable and are certainly our best option here in the UK..

Yeah, i know. Have actually so far not have had any problems with RCmart yet, but plenty with gearbest, ali express and banggood (best sources for drone parts). 

Really? RCSparks said they'd gone, be great if they're still producing!

Yeah they posted on FB last night and start losing bits on their eBay store.

Anyone remember the Gadget Show episode that featured RC cars? The guy in glasses said it was the best days filming he'd had, loved it. They had a Baja and something smaller, but can't remember what the smaller one was. 

yeah tug remember that they had a savvy on there too haha they did some good rc ones over the years the boats one was good too with the spartan etc i swear polly enjoys saying rc action haha

Its the perfect time to open a traxxas chop shop in uk then lol. Im glad i didnt buy an xmaxx when i felt flush couple weeks ago and had it ready to order. But got the kids a ride on instead. 

Traxxas are just dirty now.

Traxxas parts are made better by 3rd party anyway every peice. Are those items restricted? Rpm, proline, mips etc. 

Screw traxxas if i need something ill buy it used if the price is pumped up over everyone else. Its scummy, aus, hong Kong anywhere can have normal prices but brits have to pay double nearly. Subsidising who lol. Our govt?

Using just a ruler, it looks like 38mm. I haven't got any calipers so can't be more accurate sorry.

That's with velcro on the bottom and side, plus draining batts in the calipers.

Do people like the way top gear is heading now? You can tell all the nova stuff is staged. Im only 26 but Ide much rather they go back to 90s top gear.

yup...90s was the best, banter...but real car tests and adventures...not "last of the summer wine" meets carry on camping etc
