So this LOOKS cool. Traxxas TRX18MT
However, Ive been caught speeding (61mph in a 50mph on the motorway when it dropped to a variable limit 😞 ) Never mind!
-
Saw that video and whilst on the one hand, it looks really good, but the stuff thats carried through from the regular Trx4m, nice to see that servo is now fitted as stock too. I just dont have the need for one….although if they did a conversion kit and i could get one reasonably priced, who knows??
I’m still holding out for a Trx8m variant of this great little rc, that id be all over like a rash!!!

Yesterday I picked up a 2019 Transit. Six speed slush box and 185 horses. By far the fastest vehicle of any kind that I've owned.

I fancy getting an Unimog crawler but cant seem to find a nice one in my lowly price range (sub £200) other than FMS fcx24
-
Yeah that FMS Unimog does look the part but its what its sat on that lets it down too much without spending a small fortune again which then leaves quite a expensive truck.
would it not be wiser to wait for a body set?? Sell the K5 shell to fund it and it wont cost a deal, or bang the K5 shell onto a new Unimog chassis and sell as a stock rtr, either way would be a saving over having them both, just a thought chap.
I do confess, every time i see them i have to look, watched the trailer vid of it multiple times too

I see FTX has launched a new trail/crawler, the Gladius, 2 speed, portals and remote diff locking, amazing price , looks to be a winner but it seems to have sneaked in with no internet buzz https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/ftx-outback-gladius-1-10-4x4-rtr-1-10-trail-crawler-grey-1355592

Drifty people. Im after some Gold MST 501 Wheels, but cant find them anywhere, any ideas?
-
Do any of you find that replies from retailers become a little slow as soon as there is a problem? Been having some issues with an rc i purchased last week, and it seems prior to purchasing it all emails were replied to within an hour or so. Now there’s an issue emails are being replied to every day or two, is it just my luck or are people really not bothered about customer service anymore?

Haven't posted in a while, but have to warn everyone: i just fell for a scam, beware.
I've ordered an expensive dress for my wife, but was gobsmacked to discover this after unpacking.
I'd never thought i'd fall for a scam like this, i don't even know how they got me. Can't send it back either, i've already opened the box and accidentally painted a few parts.
Let that be a lesson to all of you, learn from my mistake. -
Birthday time again and i think my dear wife is the greatest!!!
My birthday present from the wife and kids,
Awesome!! Shame the weather is terrible for outdoors running….
-
Thanks guys, appreciate the kind words.
happy belated birthday Alex
definitely a keeper, she’s not going anywhere lol.
loads of hints and keep showing her the pics on Modelsport, its actually rare me getting any presents on my birthday as i keep it for something i see any other time of year. Other than the token gifts of course.
cough** socks…

Traxxas Rustler 4x4 Ultimate……

Amazing IMO, but I built a few of these years ago!

New Losi mini lmt !!
-
It’s all about the brand, these will sell really well over the pond being small enough to take anywhere.
i am interested to seeing a bit more of this laid bare, have they re-hashed the original losi mini crawler axles on a fancy chassis or a ground up built truck??? Hmm…..
£260 is a bit rich though, £199 and it will sell i think.

Has anyone or know anyone that has got their Losi promoto yet? I didn't pre order one and ended up getting another reptile instead but I don't think anyone's got their pre order yet.

Hate to post this but feel like this forum is going downhill, we seem to be losing stalwart members fast and for me the forum is sooooo very slow to load on each page/section, hope im wrong

Member will always come and go, but i say its quality above quantity
If it ever came to it, i would not use facebook if it were the only rc groups around, too many think they are in the know, try to screw down the price and be ignorant, nah not for me…
now before i get strung up for this, bare in mind it was only a few years ago that there wasn’t any of these “entry level” (to put it politely as i can) brands out there, mainly the big brands with the odd brand popping up now and again for example Maverick were the cheaper part of the Hpi brand.
my theory on this is that someone who does want to get into this fabulous hobby is swamped by these “entry level” rc, buying one and having a bad experience for one or more reasons and giving up having not savoured something a little more “hobby grade”, which is never going to be a good thing.
the big one for and i suppose many others is the “cost of living crisis”, every time i seem to save a little for the hobby pot, along comes a bill or increase in prices, fuel is a killer, we would go out at weekends for a picnic in the Peak District or to the coast, cant do that now. Don’t get me started on food, a can of Heinz spaghetti and sausage at £1.99 a can is just ridiculous, i used to moan at £1 per can lol making many households to be able to free up £xxx on what is a luxury item, which in turn keeps new people from joining our group.
just my thoughts but i will always remain 100% loyal to Msuk forum has its helped me no end over the years.

Just a heads up folks selling up, so over the next few weeks I’ll be listing in the sales as well as eBay. Thanks for all the good banter and happy bashing
