Its great that shops list everything they can order in from a supplier. I search for a a specific term (servo saver). Returns 122 matches, of 1which only 1 was suitable and was discontinued in the end. when I go to order. And no there's no ''show in stock only'' option because they are a dropshipper and don't carry any stock physically.

selling cars always hurts but it means other projects get to be finished. Another 3 have to leave first though.

Old 2wd Stampede XL5 found at my parents, what to do with it? Needs a thorough rebuild so...?
Also found a early 1/10th HPI E-Savage and Tamiya Street Rover XB. Old me was a hoarder lol. -
Honestly who super glues electrics into a chassis in 2021? I almost cried opening the box... Acetone to the rescue.

Apparently the answer to the question "how many chargers does one guy need?" is at least 6 according to my workshop 😄

've got the urge to own another proper RWD drift car, or a scale crawler. Problem is I've got literally no places to run either properly. I thought sleeping on the idea might shake it off but nope. 2 months later and the idea is still there.
How do you rationalise such things?

3Racing Sakura D5 but no indoor club nearby to run one nicely. they don't slide in a scale like manner on tarmac.
Carisma SCA1E but I'm town based with no garden so nowhere nicely rural to flex its muddy credentials.
I'm heavily into racing touring cars so no problems justifying silly purchases usually but these a bit of a stretch.

So I've just bought a body requiring a custom chassis. If you know what the race car ''Old Nail'' was, you'll know what I've got.

RC banger racing on a short oval with scale Jaaags and Granadas look like my next racing class to try.

Looking at 40a chargers for all the jiggawatts.

Assembling images to tell the story of how I race RC one handed. And occasionally win.

One car sold, one bought. Revolving door of happiness, this hobby.

had no idea Mtroniks were still going. Zero online presence from them.

I felt sick yesterday hearing thews of racing legend Alex Zanardi having a very serious accident. From the sound of his injuries he's very lucky to be alive and possibly has similar neurological injuries to myself. Fingers crossed the Italian pulls through - he's my motorsport hero.

The neighbours kid knows I race RC at the local club. His mum brought him along to watch us race just before lockdown started. He's been saving since to buy a car on his own. Today I built up an RTR TT01 out of my unused spares and at the weekend he can have it for nowt so he can join the club when we start up racing again this winter.
Its nothing much but gets another hooked on the hobby we love.

Somehow over lockdown I've acquired 12 new cars. WITH the blessing from the Mrs!

typing with one hand/finger takes ages lol!

Gutted. Bought something listed as in stock to arrive before Christmas. Now its out of stock, no sign of it. I hate shops without live stock levels.

Popping my head in the door and saying 'hey'...

Back online, with the old slow laptop...it really needs putting out of its misery

22,222nd post on this forum, and how did I spend it? Helping someone out, just like I did with post number 1. Because I'm awesome like that. Remember how awesome you can be, and help fellow RC'ers out.
