  2. This morning I received a brand new Spektrum DX3C transmitter courtesy of Modelsport. My old one that I got 3 years ago was acting a bit odd so I sent it in for repair. However rather than repairing it and trying to charge me, they sent me a replacement free of charge! I know they are merely doing their duty, and every shop should do likewise in such a situation in terms of the Sales of Goods Act. However I appreciate it when a company does the right thing straight away without the customer having to fight for it in court. Definitely going to keep supporting Modelsport!

  3. well after much deliberation i decided to build a truggy, specifically a D8T a truck which i have always wanted and finally today most of the parts arrived, i'm not going mad on hop ups as i knwo the D8 is pretty bomb proof, I have gone for innovative rc diff cases, tekno centre coupler, rc monster brushless conversion, a hitec wp servo, tbr bumpers front and rear with wheelie bar, also being fitted are alloy front spindles and rear hubs along with shock guards. power will come from a castle mamba monster max 2200kv combo and 6s and control from my DX4S

  5. Afternoon everyone. My wife is the manageress of a small shop and has organised a charity even to raise money for Southampton's children's hospital, the event will be based around getting children and their families in to donate in return for raffle prices and lucky dips. All of which have been donated by the shop she runs. However she has a small request and I know there are people on this forum with the ability to help if they were inclined, she is asking if anything can make 100 x thank you stickers, 50 with a boys design and 50 with a girls, of course paying for them is fine, she isn't asking for them to be free but we would need someone to help her produce and send them out before next weekend. Can anyone help? Thanks

  13. You get that with the better large scale servos bud, being the savox or hi-tech you can either buy a upgraded larger mount or cut the mount. Most cut it It will only be marginally wider.

  16. I've never had to replace the stock gears on a CC-01. They seem to hold up really well so I've never seen the need for the steel gears. John

  17. Had a go at covering the bonnet with vinyl last night and wasn't happy with the out come, so back to plan A I rubbed down the bonnet with fine sand paper and then shot a very light coat of lexan paint, when it went off I put a coat of Acid Etch primer over the top, I'm off to Halfords to look at a top coat paint, more than likely I'm going to finish the bonnet in Bed Liner paint

I put it to you that your friend wasn't trying hard enough, and was clearly using crawler mode instead of balls out mode Glad that mattress I dumped is still providing comfort and rest to the masses, must make another trip with our other knackered bed - storage drawers on this one, perfect for crack, H, foil, glue etc...
