  1. Ordered an sti spoiler for my old Subaru impreza years ago, it turned up damaged so rung the company who were apologetic and said send it back and we will refund you postage and post new one. So in a rush before work the next morning I quickly ran it up to the post office sent it recorded delivery and awaited my new one, it turned up two days later couldn't believe it I thought that's amazing service I was desperate to get it on the car and had arranged for a mate to spray it that day, when I opened it I was gutted to see another broken spoiler! I rang the firm and let the bloke on the phone have it big time! to which he replied we haven't received your old one yet? I said you must of I've got the replacement here all be it broken again! He was certain they had not received it and assured me they had definitely not sent a replacement. After i rather embarrassingly apologised It suddenly dawned on me what I had done. I was in a rush at the post office and the woman behind the counter was talking away to her friend she gave me the sticker to put on the parcel and instead of the bit with the company name and address she gave me the part with my details on, so unknowingly I stuck it on without checking it paid my money and buggered off to work, I guess what I'm trying to say is not only did I receive goods in error but I posted them! To myself! I spent 15 pounds for my broken spoiler to have a 2 night stay at the local sorting office and sent back to me! It was 7 years ago and my dad still won't let me forget it to this day!

  6. Well, mine's finally arrived! Sweet looking ride and seems to go quite nicely on just 4s. However, 5 & 6s will be tested to find the sweet spot. Seems a bit narrow, so may, in the future, fit offset rims and the 5T body. This should help with stability, but stop any body rub. Her size makes her fairly easy to work on. I'll be fitting a uBEC before she gets her first run in anger. I will get some video when time and weather permit!

  7. Only go 2nd hand if your getting it from this forum, or know the seller, you never really know how hard or badly a machine has been thrashed, and generally the people here respect the cars and maintain them well enough My gallery shows how mine looks after a few parts were added and she almost looks new again New is good because it teaches you the break in procedure

  20. if you are turning the front right wheel, you need to hold the left front so it cant turn, this will transfer the turning to the central drive shaft, you will need to make sure atleast 1 of the back wheels is off the ground or you wont be able to turn the wheel. do this on ever corner. if it all turns free and smooth, then the issue is elsewhere. thinking back, ive had simillar from a loose brake pad allowing the disc to move around on the dog cup more than it should which caused the disc to keep snagging the pad

  26. These merv's are good fun but even in stock VXL form they break pretty easily. Good luck with the conversion though and I hope you don't have too many problems.

  27. 100% that Must admit, I do like the look of the XB4, and it's on my list of contenders for next season (when I'm planning to run both 2wd and 4wd), but you're having a few issues with it atm. Hope you ge them sorted soon.

  28. Ha, good stuff. I had a Google last night and the closest I could find that looked even vaguely sensible was the Traxxas spoiler for their Fiesta. Unfortunately the Fiesta is much narrower than the WR8 so would have looked odd!

  32. if you are unsure if you can do it or not, then take mugen marks advice. if you are confident that you can do it then take dlegends advice. it does work, ive done it myself a few times. you dont need an electric cooker though, a gas hob and a frying pan does the job nicely too. it only takes a very small turn on the jubilee clip though so do it in small incriments, like tuning, till you get the required pinch. also, make sure you use a good quality jubilee clip. as for how long it lasts, nowhere near aslong as a new liner but you should get a couple/few more gallons out of it if done correctly. it can only be done once or twice though before the aluminium wears off the inside of the liner

  34. early mornings just before dawn break and the suns just popping its head out. head to a sheltered pond, trees around is better theres alway one little area thats mill pool flat. mirrored flat. thats the best place to do a fast run, in fast, turn the out fast but quick enough to outrun the waves your created on way in. gotta be a real early bird if you want the mill pool still water. cant wait to get my mudskipper jet boat running on millpool water, have the perfect spot down here.

  35. Me too! Definitely something new and interesting to me. The foam is very easy to file away so should make it a fairly easy process. Recessing windows seems to be the main thing, aswell as recessing outlines to mimick panel gaps like the headlight fitment. Although I have noticed that alot of shells also rely on the decals being applied to make it seem like they have shape, but mold detail is more important here.

  39. Proline powerstrokes are very good and a worthwhile investment; I ran them on a slash ultimate, and now on my lcg slash/rally and love 'em. Better response than big bores, more adjustable, look nice and thus far equally durable. When the electrics bore you, eighth scale set up is a good way forward, 120a + 2650kv + 3/4s = many smiles per mile...

The Hyper i bought 2nd hand and im very pleased with it so far great buggy. I bought the Rustler brand new and have learnt in the past its pointless keeping them all clean and not using them, ive now decided that they are there to be used...I get more fun out of them that way! So do i its one of my favourite out of my fleet , would defo recommend one to any one.
