Had a run in with a kerb
Luckily I had a bottom plate already but the top tray also broke where it bolts on the front. I modified the broken front bottom plate to act as a brace on the top plate. All is now well again he he.. It lives to drive another day
Massive bodge warning for the below photo

The dogbone fitted just fine and the sway bars were a doddle to fit. Only took about 5mins all together. Ready for a bash in the morning Sent from my HTC Sensation using Tapatalk 2
I have a vantage and found stock at freeprawn racing. I ordered vantage ones but the bag I received says carnage so I hope they fit. But they could be the same, I am not sure.

Finally got my rear dogbones today, just in time for some weekend bashing. Also got some sway bars, anyone know if there are fitting instructions for these anywhere?
I think that the one bundled with the car is the standard Photon SBS series, the one I got from Modelsport is the Photon SBS 2.0, latest in the series.
It works very well at all speeds for me and seems a solid piece of kit.
I think the button turns the neutral brake on and off. Press and hold for a few seconds and see what happens.

I just went for something as close to stock as possible, just took the old ones off and measured them and went with that.
Took it out today and with the extra grip of the new tires on the grass I have manage to snap one of the rear dogbones. Ordered a new one with a couple extra ones for when the next one goes.
The thing just flies with one of these brushless systems fitted: http://www.modelsport.co.uk/etronix-photon-2.0-1-10-brushless-system-9.0r/rc-car-products/368725
Mailman brought some goodies today. Time to glue them up and get them on as the originals on my Vantage are pretty much slicks at the moment

My servo packed up :-( Luckily I had an old acoms one from a 1990s Tamiya in my spares kit. Can anyone recommend me a decent cheap replacement servo. Something that is a bit quicker than the original one. Sent from my HTC Sensation using Tapatalk 2
