  1. Torro rosso .... same stuff just doing better... RB need to build a better car
  2. Try changing the string to Kevlar string... they never snap
  3. I'll use what I've got and then see what's available
  4. Optifuel race all the way
  5. Exactly my point about pullstarts. Can't tell if engine is flooded with the machinery
  6. Pullstart can be harder to start the engine without proper technique... Make sure you prime the engine before attempting to start the engine, are you doing this?
  7. Thats fine then air bubbles not an issue... If you are new to nitro engines then theres a lot of information to absorb with regards to getting it started, breaking in , tuning, keeping a tune and troubleshooting issues. From the post so far it just sounds like you just need to tune it correctly and you're good to go and destroy bits and bobs and shizzle, Ive never used a rotostart only used pullstart and starter boxes/bumpstart myself... that shouldnt make a difference... although I always prefer pullstart theres something about that mechanical feel that you dont get with drillstarts and starterboxes... With using drills to start you could potentially flood the engine, where as with a pullstart you know when to stop kind of
  8. From what you said about it being boggy on acceleration and fuel spitting out the exhaust..it seems to me than the engine is running too rich... a little tune should help with that issue... try turning the hsn needle clockwise by an 1/8th and see how it goes. As for air bubbles, i usually get air bubbles for a good few seconds after starting the engine and once that has passed through the fuel tube into the engine it is just a constant flow of nitro to follow. So you could have a defect somewhere in the tubing or tank. Fuel you are using is good ... Keep a couple of glowplugs at hand since sometimes a problem can simply be sorted with a new plug
  9. I guess it would depend on different condition as to how lean or rich an engine comes out the box [emoji14] An enjoyable steep learning curve [emoji106] [emoji41]
  10. Agreed ...never had an issue with my mach 28 either
