Nick
Although it's very wide on paper, in person it looks well scaled. It's a fantastic model to show-off.
toys4x4boys
Should be quite scaley as it's a monster and in 1:1 scale they don't look like a normal pickup do they Length is about the same as the Punisher, but MT is 100mm wider ( I'm running Baja rims, so that might not be right for stock ) Baja is longer at 817mm but again MT is about 100 wider. How does it look next to a 5T ? It should be taller as the shell looks set really high over the cage, but is it that much bigger looking when they are both de shelled ? I guess it's the wheels that really scale it up ?

Mini the minx
You'll both love the truck creamsoda & tectic What i've found needs replacing / modding from stock in the year i've owned mine : Steering servo's (hitec 5755's) Throttle servo Hitec ultra torque, that just burnt out so now powerHD servo) Air Filter (running HPI system) Drilled holes in gear cover Diff cups need steel retaining ring welding around them (otherwise they have a habit of spillting apart) Take boths diffs apart and oil properly and grease case Centre the dog dones (im using fuel tubing) green lock tight pins into hubs (these work themselves loose, blue and red locktight do not work) Joint tape and shoe goo the inside of shell (they dont seem the strongest on the market) Get a decent pipe (cpi racing about the best (rear exiting) - side pipes give the power but are sooooo vunerable) Oh and lastly - try to wipe the huge grin off your face as these trucks are awesome Plus bash it too hell Hope thats help some Edited October 5, 2010 by Mini the minx
creamsodauk
thanks mini! green loctite ay? never heard of it lol but il keep an eye out. The dog bone centering i was told about so il get some fuel tubing! Airfliter wise you run the hpi which will be my choice, how did you get around the roll cage being in the way issue? i planed to grab a angled shred stack or pinch the one off my baja and replace that with a straight alloy one. i also plan to replace the isolator block with and alloy one! throtle servo il prob go for a
miniripper@mmr
This thing is ****ing huge I have had one for quite a few weeks now. I was involved in the final testing and approval of the product. There are a few things of which are well documented that are lacking a little. But with a little investment mainly electronics they are a very worthy Basher. I have a video somewhere of it running. I'll dig it out. creamsodauk
ah i see the pro has its roll cage joint higher up, the plastic ones appears to be in the way of using a longer filter!

Just being back to the first page and i see your right You'd have to loose that cross joint altogether .......................... wonder why they did that Could you use this instead : http://www.mmrlargescale.co.uk/shop/product/tgn3258/ And : http://www.mmrlargescale.co.uk/shop/product/tgn3228/
creamsodauk
yerp another consideration for sure, but i do prefer the baja airfilter for its size and build, i think il end up getting another angled intake and hope that tilts the air filter up enough to clear the cross bar
