To be fair though, they have the detail of Tamiya (being 3pc molds for all the undercuts etc, in two parts), but have much lower production runs. Its just a guy in his workshop compared to a big company, and the amount of detail would have taken hours to do, getting the curves in the right places.

Probably not 60 euros, but

omg, how could you say that. They have no detail and are completely distorted and out of proportion, wouldn't pay more than

Ya I had seen these advertised on there site. They also come with a set of retro wheels as part of the price ( not with tyres ). The decal sheet is also very basic. Does not come with window mask or window detailing lines decals. Think they are over priced. I would pos go to

Hi,

Just found a movie of this body on youtube and was amazed: finally an mk2 (and apparently a lot more!) available for the 1/10th cars.

I think the wheels are the big on these cars: maybe a set of ABC M-Chasis MiniLite wheels will fit better. :D

I have a question: as these body's lack detail decals, how do you paint for example window rubbers, the chrome grill, ... on the body. From the inside or on the outside? What paint to use? Any guides on detailing body's in cases like these?

I just love the last 2 images of the mk1, with the cibie lights on them. If you buy this body invisible bodyposts and antenna are must IMHO. What about inner figures, any guides for making these as well?

I've been driving Mini-Z for some years now (after a few years of 1/10th bashing) and I suddenly got the taste back to go back racing some 1/10s outside. I have an old FF02 chassis here and I'm thinking of putting it in RWD :D

I have just this very minute ordered my 2 Retro Racing bodyshells from Modelsport. Ordered the MK1 & MK2. Realy looking forward to there arrivel now already. Will also order the Cortina at some point 2. Not sure about the 2002 or the Kedett though.

Something different for my Drift in Rally style of course.

Thanks to HaCo for posting the link to the video. It made up my mind to order to order. But as you said Painting the Grill & window lines will not be as easy as standard bodyshell Hpi, Yokomo & Tamiya bodykits are with there Decal sheets. But I have done it before. Looks like a challenge. Will also reserve my comments on the Decals & materials till it arrives and I have painted it.

Also posted a Checky link in my comment on the video's to Modelsport say that you can now buy them there. Thought it was worth the Plug for a great shop ( R U Listening Modelsport? ).

I recieved my 2 body's today. I don't understand how you can mold the two parts together. If I see the image of the mk1 you don't see a line of seperation at all, but you see one screw. Is it just beneath the windscreen?
