  1. take a look at my hyper; http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=70579&st=0&p=653372&#entry653372, you cant rly get many motor mounts for the hyper in the uk apart from the novak one. so the only other options are paying a fortune for an import from the us or making your own. if you're going to import from the us this is the place to buy from; RCPD, you can also get seperate pieces of that kit from them. you can easily make a home made battery box with velcro stras n stuff. but after having the novak bl system for a wile now i can say the esc has overheating issues now because the fan got destroyed from little stiks and stones, but the motor's great, the lrp systems are the best though.
  2. is it a clone of the mini zilla. if this is the case can't they just realise that that was an EPIC FAIL!
  3. another thing, with electric you cant just slam the trigger into full throttle, especially not with uncensored brushless. try eazing on the throttle.

    Xray 808E

this thing seems brilliant, the first non- simple, badly thought out prodution conversion to electric, they've been spending ages on getting the weight distibution perfect, for it's been terrible on other production electric 1/8th's up till now. well done xray!
  5. much more people ae into electric, nitro is fading out the sooner you accept this the better, then you can buy this. it looks a whole lot better than the anderson/duratrax bikes, luvin the battery system aswell
  6. looks like its just a matter of flipping the whole rear end around.
  7. i luv those wire tidies, all manufacturers should put those on their cars!
  8. hm, this could be a replacement for my e10!
  9. one question... why? its not gonna be able to jump anymore (if u have any respect for it) plus the body will get destroyed on rolls n stuff.
  10. So OFNA are making 2 competing cars? Why? i suppose they do the hyper and the x_-cr
  11. um... wasn't this going to b hobao? plus i'm pretty sure that it's an entire new chassis. i wonder if they'll b offering a centre spool 4 bashing?
  12. the black, or perhaps even a 7.5, it sorts out the the steering circle problems with a whole new steering column and the low rear end grip with a wing
  13. course u can wheelie 4wd cars look at monster trucks. so long as they dont have a centre differential like on truggies/ buggies, but then that's there precisely so they dont wheelie under acceleratio in a race. sparrowhawks dont have a centre diff though. you'll be able to do much better jumps with the sparrowhawk; much more aerial control plus 4wd means it'll be better off-road. rustler is waterproof though, even though batts aren't, unless you get max-amps. i say sparrowhawk
  14. if you're at all unsure bout being able to cope with a nitro then go for electric, faster nowadays. sure my hyper cost like
  15. no, you rly dont need to try n stop the car from flipping at speed, firstly the srvo saver would kick in, secondly even if the wheels did turn it would just understeer and then spin out, you'd have to do a high speed weeve to make it flip, even then its stil hard. adjust that nob so that the servo will turn as far as it possibly can without the wheels hitting the lower wishbone.
