sprogs Posted April 2 Share Posted April 2 Hi. I'm nes to the forum and the hobby. I just crashed my brother 's car and had to get him a new bodyshell. The holes are in the wrong place so I need to make new ones. What do you folk use to make holes without splitting the shell ? Thanks. ad456m Posted April 3 Share Posted April 3 I too bought a reamer but didn’t spend enough to get a good one. Now I just use a small drill bit and then open it up with a stepped drill bit, it has the diameters marked so can’t go too far wrong and it leaves a fairly clean edge that needs very minimal cleanup.
