Anyway I bought a used  nitro car for my son  (same one as I own a hobao hyper st) the only thing it didn’t come with was a  transmitter and receiver I don’t want to sound stupid but is there anything I need to look out for or can I just purchase 2.4ghz radio set for it install it and away I go or is it not that simple sorry to sound stupid but just want to check 1st. Cheers. I’d like to add I saw the car running before I bought it and it was all as it should be the seller just needed the radio gear for his other car.

you may need to recentre them and make sure they operate in correct direction

if they work opposite direction use the reversing switches on the transmitter

Cheers mate daft question but how do I re centre them or how will I no if I have to?

you may be able to use the trims to centre it but if its going to be to much you take the servo horn off and move it round a spline

Thank your for your help mate so in theory everything should work as it did once the new radio gear is fitted?
