Hi all I’ve got a Hobao pirate project the problem I have is when running it’s spitting its fuel and gasses out off the exhaust manifold gasket at the back of the engine I’ve ordered new gaskets and they are very loose fitting in the manifold I have tried different ones I’m abit lost on what to try next should it be a tight fit or could it be the exhaust spring needs to be replaced hope it makes sense

Hi all sorry to sound dumb but does anyone no where I can get tyres for my car i got given a 1/10 hobao pirate with no wheels I’ve found some wheels but need tyres the size i need are 56/36x21 any help would be appreciated

Them wheels you sent the link for of the same wheels as mine the seller says they are 5inches high and 3 inch wide so not sure how to work out the full diameter.

Yeh I’ve seen those they wouldn’t fit mine as mine are the 12mm hex not 17

This is what’s confusing me mate or am I just been thick?

Hi all I’ve recently brought a second hand hobao hyper st with the mac star 28 engine.I’m trying to put the Carb to standard i know the settings for the high speed needle and the low speed needle but this has a 3 needle carb and I’m not sure on the settings for the middle needle it’s been messed with so I need the factory settings to move forward. I know as a rule you shouldn’t touch the middle needle but some one has and I’m lost finding the factory settings. Any help would be appreciated cheers.

Hi mate the high speed needle from fully closed is 4.5 turns out and the low speed needle is flush to the carb body. Hope this helps.
