Camera for RC car

Hi all,

 

I've been looking for a camera for an onboard view in my RC truck for a while now, but the list of available mini cams just seems to be endless.

 

I'm wanting something VERY cheap, no frills. It doesn't need to transmit for FPV or anything like that. Just simple onboard recording to watch back later, and it doesn't need to be super high quality image either. It's purely for a bit of fun.

 

Has anyone got a recommendations? Thanks very much.

There used to be keyring cameras that weren't too shabby, there was a thread on here somewhere, can't remember the title.

you will be unhappy with footage having a camera on board will be to jerky and shakey even with a half decent camera like Runcam Thumb or Runcam 2hd

I figured the footage wouldn't be amazing, hence why the very cheap camera. If I get a few good shots, great. If not, then I haven't spent heaps.
