Im tempted by these, but I think Ill use this more on bumpy car parks. I really need to use this soon, it impressed me so much last time
martin34
Yes in a car park you probably won't need them but the last time I used mine in a park it was like a birds nest inside after only a few minutes.I want to do my diff fluids aswell. Gaz!
It’s looking like its nearly finished now mate, i took note of the front and rear camber links you ordered as mine has some home brew ones and ive never liked them (done by a previous owner) so thank you for that. now could cheekily ask, do you know the part no. For the steering turnbuckles?? many thanks in advance for any help.

I went for the Traxxas Blue ones that werent cheap, and I want the camber links in Blue but cant find them
Kpowell911
@Gaz! I run these as the front steering links now, although not pictured. https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/31900 The ones you see in the pics above are just the stock ones

Popular Post Kpowell911
Although there was nothing wrong with the stock wheels and tyres. I wanted to try this. Cost me £32ish all in from Ali Express. I had no idea if the 17mm conversion fitted a Slash 4x4 Platform, but for £7 ish why not. Yes. The tyres are fake knock offs. If this works Ill try to obtain legit ones. Theyre a much lower profile, with a much bigger wheel. I didnt check offset etc and expected them to stick out far or not even fit. But heres the 17mm Hexes. Not sure why these are £7 and Traxxas ones are £35 as theyre very good quality. I know Im Biased but OMG how good does this look!! I know the body will need lifting but Im over the moon with this set up/stance. It looks amazing in my opinion. ❤️

ReggieC
I ran those adapters on my Slash for a bit. Had trouble with the barrel nuts coming loose, so would recommend loctite. I ended up snapping one trying to tighten it up though and had to cut the whole adapter apart, so be careful on that!

Thanks, theyre not even done up fully, to be fair as I doubt Ill actually use them, if I do itll just be a bit of light running
Popular Post Kpowell911
Getting on well with this. Shell suprisingly is ok even with that stance but I am gonna raise it. Cheapo tyres work well, but I think theyre gonna wear quite quickly
