Questions about different cell batteries

So I am almost in ownership of a WLTOYS 124018 (its being shipped currently) and this car is basically the same car as the 124019 but with a different more sturdy body, and I've seen many pictures with this car with really high cell batteries with stock looking parts, I was wondering if I could put a higher cell battery in my 018 or if it would blow up (picture down below)?

you are best sticking to 2s lipo on that unless the electrics have been upgraded

agree with jack looks like a stock motor in there so 2s is you limited unless you upgrade the esc and motor combo etc 

if after a bit more speed could gear up a little ie bigger pinion smaller spur should help a little OP 👍

I suspect someone (op) is confusing cell count with capacity going by the large capacity 2s in the picture 🤭

 

Capacity (mah) cannot be too large, depending on c rating it can however be too low…cell count is a whole other story and can easily be to high as the others have said.
