m4inbrain Posted November 26, 2020 Share Posted November 26, 2020 I'd agree with Guns in regards to the pinion. It's a bit (lot) slow out of the box - i'd get an 18t pinion. Otherwise i'd agree with mydoddy - upgrade as you break. Doesn't need a Max6 straight away (that'll come by itself once the VXL inevitably lets go - could be a week, could last over the lifetime of the RC), and while the RPM Hubs are a good upgrade - it's one that you do once the the stock bearings are cooked.
