Horizon Hobby have listed a new model by ARRMA with no images or details, is it too early to speculate? :D

Among the 1/7 Felony 6s Street Muscle Car listed here:

https://www.horizonhobby.co.uk/en/product/1-7-felony-6s-blx-street-bash-all-road-muscle-car--black-p-ara7617v2t1

Are many other new models with no info (v3 Typhon 3s, v5 Typhon 6s, Mojave EXB roller), see them here at the bottom of the page: https://www.horizonhobby.co.uk/en/storefronts/arrma

Felony is surely going to be the infarction with a muscle car body.  The EXB stuff is welcome, kinda like others used to do with RTR and Pro versions - the 3S range is inspired marketing but short sighted imo.

I haven't had a freebie so can speak my mind ;)

If it's a Mojave 1/7 roller, I'd have to get one. Got motors, an old ropey ESC that does still work (think it might have been accidentally submerged at some point), I'll just need a decent servo, Hitec all the way!

Just had a look on the Arrma site, they're listing EXB option parts for the Mojave, including a 7075 chassis, so just a matter of time before they release an EXB roller?

Arrma’s prices are getting a bit too high for my liking

The problem isn't just Arrma, it's the value of the pound. Versus the Euro, Dollar and Yuan it's done nothing but go down since 2016.

Traxxas and Tamiya have both jacked up prices. Horizon did a while back with some of the Losis.

Arrma have hit a massive 16% increase on most models I even comment it to Jason Dearden his reply was pretty lame blaming Covid,  the lack of U.K. interest along with the fall in the pound.

Yes others have increased as well but not by 16% though

Pretty sure Traxxas prices have increased over the last few years to the same. The original retail of both xmaxx and TRX4 are much more than when they originally came out. The RRP for the Defender is 600 quid now. Xmaxx was 800? Now it's 1k. COVID could increase shipping costs if they wanted it done via air freight rather than the container on a boat.

I paid £569 for a Traxxas Maxx in November that is now selling for £629 from the same retailer. The RRP has increased by £58 so yeah, definitely not just Arrma who's price points have shot up.

Yep which is 10.2% not the 16% Arrma have increased, although no matter what on here Traxxas will always get a battering.
