>M<
just recently discovered a 1:28 little race club near me and wouldn't mind getting back into it all, after something I can mod fairly nicely... I have no clue about this ratio and from what I can tell there isn't much about.. I did see something a bout miniz? unsure what they are just seems like a certain brand? or is it its own genre? thanks in advance Martyn
Paul Busby
I followed this as I also ould quite like some 1:28 models, but seems there isn't many fans round here.Perhaps it's a good idea to head to the track and talk to the guys there... Then report back [emoji16]
Snfu
Associated mt28, sc28, & the buggy version. Tough little trucks. & if you do the 2s conversion really quick. Have a Google

Snfu
Ignore my comment, I didn't realise you wanted to race.
EvilR
Mini-Z model MR-03 Evo is the best current racing Mini-Z Loads of available options by Kyosho themselves and the likes of PN, Atomic etc. I’m more of an AWD driver so I run a GLA, Mini-Z’s run AAA and the GLA is a 2S Lipo powered 1/28 so you might need to check into what the club runs. heres my MR-03 Evo and GLA

MacRaguel
Been looking into some minis/micros myself after a ton of research and some hands on I’ve got to say e kyosho mini z’s are very good and will be a purchase of mine ready for the winter if you are going to go this small though you need a very good surface to drive on certainly for the tourers and drifters the mini z buggy’s look very cool and will probably be what I’ll pick up a couple of hobby grade so fully upgradable and apparently....so close to the 1/10 in handling that they are great for practice but there’s nothing ‘semi’ decent about them theyre not cheap but very high quality Edited February 8, 2020 by MacRaguel

I actually see this a week or so ago, but when I was looking they were £180+ from over seasons (so +VAT) On 01/02/2020 at 10:17, Snfu said: Associated mt28, sc28, & the buggy version. Paul Busby
I have the SC28 Edit - sorry I have the RC28T - But it's almost the same. Great for messing around in the livingroom but they get clogged up with hair and fluff super easily.

I get all my Mini-Z kit from Jason at Redfin models Letchworth, he’s got to be one of the biggest Mini-Z UK retailers. The MR-030 Evo was around £200 and then the Rx ontop

EvilR
The Evo AWD is the MA-030 The Evo RWD is MR-03 MA-030 comes with the red 8500kv motor and the MR-03 has a few options 4100kv, 5600kv, 8500kv and 12000kv For most tracks the 12000kv is too much, I’d say our new track with a 11m straight has been the first time it’s been useful. 8500 is good on the AWD and for the RWD I’d go 8500 on a big track or 5600 on the everything else. Here’s our track to give you an idea
