Dx6i won't pair

Jayce

Recommended Posts

Just recently picked up a Dx6i to use with micro crawlers etc... and cannot get it to pair to my SR3500 rec. It also will not pair to a Dx4e either.

Anyone know of any issues as the receiver does everything it should too, except pair!

DX6i is an Air transmitter, so you'll need an receiver beginning AR. The SR recievers are for surface transmitters.

Fooled me too a few years ago, there are 2 standards for DSM

Is there a reason you need so many channels?

Space is a premium in a micro crawler and an AR receiver is pretty big.

Not really just thought it'd be useful for bigger scale stuff too if needed.

In that instance I'd go with a regular piston grip one.

They're a lot easier for controlling crawlers and if you end up with several you don't need to spend £60+ each on receivers.

Already have the 2 tx's Got a deal on them, ordered one of the rip off 6ch rec's. Looks pretty small so should work.

The number of transmitters doesn't make any odds :P

Hopefully the cheap one will bind, I never had any issues binding the orangerx from HobbyKing to my DX8, so fingers crossed for you.
