The T2 body by JConcepts is a link for RC drivers to accomplish all types of off-road journeys. The new shell draws an inspiration from Glamis, California, where peace of mind, relaxation and all-out performance pack the dunes each weekend.

The T2 body was started as a clean slate design and sculpted with high-impact features, detailed front fascia and large angular wheel wells. The rigid design fits right into the line-up as the T2 shares styling cues from key family designs such as the Finnisher line of off-road racing bodies. The large surface roof /cage are profiled to ensure proper integration with the popular Slash and Slash 4x4 chassis. Inside clearance has been maximized for a vast assortment of inner features any customer might have installed.

 

IFMAR World Champion, Ryan Maifield is a desert fanatic and was exclusively consulted on this design. The T2 body even means business with the Pros. Hood shape, headlight position, grille layout with dense and striking lines satisfies even the most die-hards bandits of the desert.

 

Superior fit and finish with included decal sheet have racers raving while the large foot-print window mask gives the ultimate look for simple and quick painting.

They had a clean piece of paper for this design.....and spoilt it by drawing this on it.

 

I am not sure whether to blame the designer...or his guide dog.

Reminded me of their Bajr - Perhaps they let the same designer have another crack

Ok it's not the nicest thing but I quit like it with a different colour scheme and wheels it would look ok

 

I would have one anyway

It would look far better on a Yeti or something similar with a solid rear axle.

Whereas this to me is quite nice.  

 

The new Truth bodyshell is a huge miss.

The Bajr ..... trademark avoidance .... isn't bad looking. Not pretty, but you can see what htey were doing and whilst it's a bit too stetched, it's not bad. The 'Truth' shell, however, has odd angles. No flowing lines and every angle different. Front and rear arches don;t share a single line/angle, and hte mix of angular and curved lines jars badly. Then it's overall proportions are squat and tall at teh same time.

 

I mean...chop off the roof and the rollcage...and I can sort of see where they were going. They just seemed to have changed tack and gone somewhere else.

 

Trouble is..the real life buggies they were trying to emulate are pretty ugly in some cases, and the ones that do look good have simple rollcage tops that are much less visually dominant.

 

Massive fail for me.
