Oh How Original
I remember it well, it was me who bought it off you lol, it's still going strong from what I know. But yeah, no issues and my lightbar was hammered, my Yeti especially gets beaten and I've landed on the lightbar so many times, smashed it off rocks and the like and it's never even flickered on me. Still got it on the shelf.
.AJ.
Oh yea it was, it’s nice to hear it’s still kicking about and never got stripped for parts
Oh How Original
Yeah I couldn't bring myself to do that, I just sold it for what I paid, I didn't have the money or inclination to invest in the electrics it needed at the time. About 6 months ago, I messaged the lad about buying it back, but he's changed his number, still see the odd picture of it though

.AJ.
Not sure how useful or practical this will be, but I’m making up a Anti-roll bar disconnect kit, I found these little clevis pins on eBay that replace the lower link screws perfect I need to make some brackets to hold the roll bar out of the way now.... tolk83
They'd be handy for me on the rear suspension. Keep having to top it up as the top caps leak.
.AJ.
The bladders are rubbish, I’ve got Traxxas ones and o-rings in my shocks, no signs of any leak at all

Oh How Original
Not read the entire build but did you actually order the Vanquish front diff housing? If so, what's your thoughts on it? I fancy one for mine, but unsure if to bother or not. Edited August 16, 2018 by Oh How Original
.AJ.
The bladders are a straight swaps, replace the white spacer in the lower cartridge with the 2 of the blue o-rings, I also greased them up with green slime ? https://wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/130/

.AJ.
Front bulkhead arrived this morning, it fitted up beautifully, I did have to shave the RPM arms a bit, they where a bit tight and we’re cause a bind. The diff has also been rebuilt with HPI diff gears, a steel diff cup filled with 500k oil Also been speaking to guy from the US about VP style Titianum F&R links, VP have stopped making them, so he’s started... I’ve got a set in the post as we speak

steephill
Are the HPI diff gears stronger. Or is it due to parts availability?
.AJ.
They are stronger, I’ll get a comparison pic in a while for you
.AJ.
The HPI gears are on the right, you can see they have a much larger contact area, the part number is HPI 86014
