J.K
For a 1c charge rate (takes approx an hour) you'd want to charge a 2200mah pack at 2.2a, 5500mah at 5.5a etc You can buy packs which are capable of being charged at 2c (double the above) which halves the charge time but can apparently take a bit of life out of the cells. I'd set your LVC to about 3.4v per cell, but if you're running a Hobbywing ESC then you may need to play around with this as they can be a little hit and miss
Tear101
cheers for that James. i have a separate low voltage alarm which is more accurate the the esc. Do you set all lipos to 3.4v per cell? as i think that's what i was told to set my 2s lipo to.
Kpowell911
Its 3.4v per cell regardless of wether its a 2s or 6s lipo.
Tear101
Nice one, i thought as the battery voltage is higher the cutoff would be too. suns out so better get her charged and in a car!
Kpowell911
Its PER CELL though, not per pack, so the overall voltage will be higher as there is an extra cell. 2s (2x3.4 = 6.8) 3s (3x3.4 = 10.2) I personally go to 3.0 or 3.2, but 3.4 is safer
